What is Back Office and how does it influence your point of sale

Back Office is the the back bone of any point of sale system, giving you total control of your stock, GP, debtors and creditors. Your Back Office is used to create stock items, calculate your actual GP % or markup. You will be able to group your stock items per major and minor department.

You are able to create debtors and creditors in your back office, including setting separate limits and default discounts for each individual. You will find performance reports on you debtors, showing you individual expenditure per product and per debtor.

Our loyalty system will allow you to sms or e-mail clients updates on latest specials or products, point redeemable etc. Print clients your own in house bar coded vouchers with your own logo and address details, to any A4 printer. The loyalty system will allow you to group clients into specific groups, this will allow you to target specific clients in your marked, giving you total control on your marketing.

Barcodes can be printed to any barcode printer, unlike other point of sale companies we believe that you should have your product of choice, therefore our back office and point of sale has been developed to be compatible with all barcode printers and scanners.

The back office handles multiple branches. In short: all your branches information is sent to your head office via the internet (the files are sent as .txt files so your internet cap shouldn't be a problem as .txt files are very small files). Then the head office computer will take all the information and import it into your back office, giving you all your branches stock levels, reports, point of sale turnovers, point of sale cash ups etc.
